Ever since the Lego movie, some of us have had our interest in these colorful building blocks revitalized. And combining our love for DIYs with some Lego magic would be the best way to spend a relaxed weekend. Coming from Ben Uyeda of HomeMade Modern, this lovely project is all about adding a wonderful pair of concrete nesting tables to your collection of unique home decor!

Easy DIY Concrete nesting tables Idea Using Lego Bricks to Create These Awesome DIY Concrete Nesting Tables!

While the idea of shaping nesting tables does seem a bit daunting, you will soon realize that this project is a whole lot easier than it sounds. All you will need for this project are a whole lot of Lego bricks and concrete mix. Once you these, assemble the mold carefully using the Lego and bricks (as shown in the video) and then pour in your concrete mix.

Removing the Lego bricks from the Concrete nesting tables

Give it enough time for the concrete to cure and then start carefully removing the Lego bricks one by one. Do this slowly if needed and make sure you do not really damage r break any of the bricks as these are not really cheap. Moreover, you could use them all for another future concrete DIY for sure. Once you have the Lego bricks out, your DIY concrete nesting tables and done and ready to be used.

DIY Concrete Nesting Tables with Legos

You can use paint of even a wood finish paint to ensure that they mix in with the rest of the decor in your home. Or you can keep them as they are if the style you are shooting for is minimal and industrial! Yes, they might not take a whole lot of load, but they are still pretty sturdy, and work very well as simple, nightstands with a small table lamp and a book or two on top!
