Burning an Outdoor Portrait with 12 Thrifty Godox Off-Camera Flashes

Here’s a behind-the-scenes movie by photographer David Iliyn showing exactly how he recently performed a backyard image shoot with a musician with 12 split off-camera flashes.

The Oregon-based professional photographer made use of inexpensive Godox VT560 universal flash products, which are priced at about $35 each on line, in order to pick-up twelve of them for $420.

“The Godox flashes performed interestingly well,” Iliyn claims. “Kudos to Godox for developing a really, actually cheap affordable flash. If you need something such as a backup, this might undoubtedly end up being the flash.”
